XII. GOVERNMENT POLICIES

The Indian Government and various state governments are showing strong policy and investment commitments to the IT industry. To further promote India as a major destination for the IT/ITES sector, the government is also considering a proposal to set up an “India Brand Marketing” fund. The fund will be utilised to promote the country as a preferred destination for the IT/ITE sector.
